The inaugural running of the Mad City 100K took place on Saturday April 7th in Madison, Wisconsin. Through weather conditions which could most kindly be described as "blustery" intrepid runners and relay teams worked to complete 10 laps around our scenic race course.
Congratulations to 2007 Mad City 100K Road Race Champions...

Subject: Thank You!!
Message: Thank you Tim, Jason and Bill for the enormous amount of time and effort you put into carrying out a great 100k national championship race.
Despite it not being my day due to GI issues, I got to circle the fabulous course 7 times. I loved the course and just LOVED the people... both the runners and those fabulous altruistic volunteers. I wish I could thank everybody personally again. From the guy on the bike (who cheered me and encouraged me on so many times) to the road marshalls who kept us safe (and legal!) to the aid volunteers who stood in those frigid temps just to help us run...they were incredible! Please tell them we appreciated every minute of their time. We should be warming their toes now in appreciation!
Thank you for everything. You did a great job!. I will certainly be back next year.
