It's Wednesday,  August 10th, 2016   User not logged in!       Mad City 100K      Title: Mad City 100 Kilometer Road Race earns Commendation by the Wisconsin Senate and Assembly Date: Monday April 7th, 2008 Author: Wisconsin Senator Fred Risser Mad City 100K Receives Commendation by the Wisconsin Senate and Assembly as Motioned by Senator Fred Risser       WHEREAS, the Mad City 100K run has again been honored to be the USA National Championship 100-kilometer road race; and       WHEREAS, the race will be run on April 12, 2008, on the famous 10-kilometer loop around Lake Wingra in Madison, Wisconsin, circling through Vilas Park and the University of Wisconsin Arboretum; and       WHEREAS, many of America's top ultramarathoners are arriving in Madison to compete for national awards and prize money; and       WHEREAS, many dedicated volunteer organizers are donating their time and energy to make the Mad City 100K one of the finest ultramarathons in the country; now       THEREFORE, the members of the Wisconsin Legislature, on the motion of Senator Fred Risser, do commend the participating ultramarathoners, relay runners, and dedicated volunteers, on the occasion of the Second Annual Mad City 100K and USA 100KM Road Championship.
