| | | | |  Dear 50K and 100K solo runners,
Packet pickup for the race will be at the Vilas Park shelter on Friday afternoon/evening, April 8, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. If you are a 100K runner and just can't get there in time, please let me know and I'll make your pickup easier early on Saturday morning. Remember that the 100K race starts at 6:30 a.m. CDT.
50K runners can pick up packets Friday afternoon/evening, or wait until Saturday morning. Your choice. Remember that the 50K race starts at 8:00 a.m. CDT.
Race director Timo Yanacheck will conduct a pre-race meeting at the Vilas Park shelter at 6 p.m. Friday. This will be an excellent opportunity to hear about and ask questions about such important topics as the USATF rules of competition, aid station setups, US team eligibility, and so on. It will also be a nice time to meet informally with experienced and less experienced ultramarathoners entered in the race. Crews are welcome to attend this meeting. | | | | |
