| | | | | | Subject: | Aid Station Food and Beverages - 100K and 50K Solo Runners |
| | | | | Here is a list of the foods and beverages we expect to have available for you at both aid stations in our race (i.e. at the start/finish area and in the Arb). With the exception of the Raman noodle soup (which won't be available in the early laps of the race), every effort will be made to provide these items throughout the race. If you see a particular item here that you absolutely cannot do without, then the best advice is for you to bring some of your own just in case we unexpectedly run out. If you don't see something here that you may want during the race, bring it yourself. Whatever you bring to the race - your so-called 'specialty needs' - we will make available for you within the aid stations. Remember that all aid must come to you only at the two official aid stations.
M&M;'s, Oreos, Animal Crackers, peanut butter crackers, bananas, oranges, cantaloupe, watermelon, jelly beans, saltines, pretzels, potato chips, Cheez-its, salt, green olives, bread, peanut butter, jelly, Coca Cola, Sprite, Mountain. Dew, Raman noodles soup, boiled potatoes (not sliced).
Of course, we will also have HEED sports drink and good ol' Wisconsin water.
There is no one better at caring for you than our aid station captains and volunteers. They are among the most knowledgeable, experienced, and friendly you will find anywhere. They want to help you. Your success is their success. Talk to them so they can take care of you the way you want to be taken care of. | | | | |
