| | | | | The icon of our race logo - the state capitol building in Madison - is open to visitors for tours or just some old-fashioned self-guided gawking. Completed in 1917, our state capitol is a replica of the US Capitol. The great white granite dome is lighted at night and is a landmark you can see from just about everywhere, including from your
airplane as you approach and leave Madison. It's at the center of the
city.
